Idris Elba can even make nannying look good! Idris Elba has signed on to Netflix’s newest project Turned Up Charlie. The series will contain eight half-hour episodes and is described by Deadline as follows: “The show sees Elba play Charlie, a struggling DJ and eternal bachelor, who’s given a final chance at success when he reluctantly becomes a manny to his famous best friend’s problem-child daughter.” Idris Elba is also executive producing the project and will be starting production in May.
