Demi Lovato may be "Cool for the Summer," but she's not cool with being a former child star! Demi Lovato was interviewed at Cannes Lions Festival and opened up about the struggle of transitioning into adulthood in the limelight. “I wouldn’t start that young if I could do it over again. It was a difficult transition from child star to transform into a mainstream artist. You have to find your identity. For so long you’ve been molded and then you’re expected to figure out who you are in front of the whole world.” Demi Lovato first made her debut on the big screen in Barney & Friends at the age of 8, and then became a Disney star after starring in the tv movie Camp Rock. She's currently working on a new reality series for YouTube called Simply Complicated.
